Children's Pastors

Victory Kids is the children’s ministry of C3 Victory. We aim to connect children to God through a fun, contemporary culture and Spirit focused atmosphere. We want to see kids develop and equip them to reach their generation. Victory Kids has programs for children from 1 ½ - 12 years of age in our Sunday morning service. There is also a feeding mothers’ room located in the foyer of the church.

Sunday Mornings (9:30am) 

Energy (Age 1½ – 3yrs)
This program includes teaching, music, and free play time. Children learn about God in a safe and caring environment. Our VK leaders want to build a foundation of God into these very precious lives. This program is designed for children up to 3 years of age who aren’t toilet trained. Nappy change facilities are available. 



Empower (Age 3 – 5 yrs)
This program includes teaching, music, craft, prayer and free play time. Children experience and learn about God in a safe and caring environment. Through visual aids and engaging messages, children will be taught principles of prayer, the importance of God’s word and the power of Jesus’ life. 



Encounter (Kinder – Year 2)
Comprising kinder to year 2 children, this group is designed to build a solid spiritual foundation for the years to come. The program includes teaching, worship, games, memory verse challenges, craft, and small group time.




Emerge (Year 3 - 6)
Our older primary age children (year 3 to 6). This service includes teaching, worship, games, memory verse challenges, small groups, activity based learning and drama. We focus on developing a child’s personal relationship with God. This program has always been known for its strong Presence focus and ministry time. 
 


Friday Nights (during school term)

Extreme (Year 5 – 6)
Extreme is our year 5 and 6 community program. Extreme has some of the best games you’ve ever seen, incredible worship, and small groups designed to connect unchurched children to church, each other, and God. Extreme looks at the ‘real issues’ that pre-teens face, like friendship and who God is. Extreme runs Friday nights during school term from 7pm-9pm, cost $4. 



Other Roles

Scripture
Picture walking into a classroom full of children who’ve never heard about God and taking a school-endorsed half hour to tell them all about Him! Schools are an open door to the gospel, much more than most people think. Hillsborough Public school is currently our main scripture focus, and we often see children from the school coming to our programs and outreaches because of the scripture opportunities we’ve been given. A scripture teacher is not just a teacher, but a government-endorsed evangelist!

Special Needs Team
Some families in our church are often unable to attend church due to their children’s special care requirements. Through our special needs team, we are able to ease the burden on families and provide an opportunity for both children and parents to be spiritually fed during their time at Victory.

Victory Kids Creative

Victory Kids currently has two creative teams. Victory Kids Creative runs Tuesday nights in the Children’s Centre during term time. 

Dance
Victory Kids Dance team is for children in year 2 to 6 and runs from 6.00pm-7.30pm on Tuesday nights during term. Dance costs $10 per term and they perform regularly in Sunday morning church services, Friday night Extreme and Victory Kids Camps. 

Band
Victory Kids Band team is for children in year 3 to 6 and runs from 6.00pm-7.30pm on Tuesday nights during term. The Victory Kids Band performs regularly in Sunday Morning church, Sunday Morning Victory Kids programs, and Victory Kids Camps.
 
Victory Kids Events

Victory Kids holds a number of events throughout the year: 

Easter Egg Hunt
Every year Victory Kids holds our annual Easter Egg Hunt located on the church property. This day not only includes looking for eggs but also involves an interactive game and drama.
 
Sunday ‘Bring a Friend Day’
Each year Victory Kids holds annual Bring a Friend Day. This is a fantastic day filled with huge games and lots of fun! Previous days have included: Spy Catch, FBI, International Treasure and TimeShock! 

Connect Outings
Victory Kids hold a number of Connect Outings for Children aged 2½ to 12 years. Connect Outings provide an opportunity for kids to strengthen friendships with peers and Victory Kids Leaders - It is also a great way to invite people. Connect outings may include: Mum & Bub Disco, Girls Only Party, trips to Zone Empire or the Movies! 

Kids Camp
Victory Kids holds an annual Kids Camp for children in year 3 to 6. This is a great time in the year where Victory Kids pack their bags and head of to a themed camp which includes messages, games, drama, dance and a whole lot a of fun!
